Reel mower

Building our house years ago was quite a bit of work. We had to bring in some fill to begin with for the backyard. At the time sand was cheap we didn't think about how much we would lose from heavy rains washing it away. After the first rainstorm and losing a lot of it my husband designed a diversionary gutter in the ground to divert any heavy rains. After this we brought in the top soil for the small backyard. We only needed a reel mower to take care of the grass in that small area. Next year we plan on spending the money for top soil in the front yard.

Phone calls

Don't you love  those calls from tele marketers that kept on calling on your phone day in day out? Even if they were told not to call but still they kept on calling.  First I call them up and give them a piece of my mind. Then I asked where they stole our telephone number because I surely didn't give it to them.  Then I turned around and then they called again. When they called again I don't give them a chance to talk I asked them for their home phone number so I can call them and disturb their life like they do mine. I also tell them that tele marketing is the lowest form of work in the world and then I hang up. They usually don't call after that but they just keep on selling your number to different companies.

Hydraulic cartridge

As a younger man my father in law got this urge to dig a pond on my husband's property. He also needed dirt fill for behind his house so he went out and bought a used backhoe and a used dump truck. Besides putting tires and breaks on the dump truck everything else seems to work really good considering it was a 1946 Ford truck lets call it excellent for the year. The backhoe on the other hand needed tires, hydraulic lines and a hydraulic cartridge. The backhoe seemed like an everyday breakdown device. If my father in law got through the day without using two gallons of fluid that was a good day.

2004 Polaris predator ATV

Even though it was cold and sprinkling my husband went out to put the final fixings on our 2004 Polaris predator ATV. He thought he was going to be done today, the left front wheel bearing is in bad shape so he had another set he was going to put on. He took the tire off removed the disk break roader. After taking the large nut of the spindle he discovered that the back bearing was ceased to the spindle. He messed with it for about an hour and a half still he couldn't get it to come off. He says he is going to have to look for a puller to pull the hub to replace the bearings. Hopefully the spindle is in good shape.

Nature trekking

From snow mobile riding, riding four wheelers and even a quiet countryside morning walk is our favorite past time  providing educational nature experience for our kids. Our walking trail is only a few blocks from our house past the railroad tracks. Yet we can do so much in a day from there. The scenic views in this country side can be more exciting like yesterday when we went out for some nature adventure. As we reached the creek riding the four wheeler we picked up some rocks to throw in the creek as we make wishes.  Fifty foot from where we stand was a beaver  dam. There was no beaver on sight but the dam sure makes the water flow slowly. Makes you wonder if there are fish trapped on that creek.

On the other hand, our five year old is trying to get himself unstuck  in the middle of the bushes. He had to have that stick. Every time we go in the woods he always finds something interesting  its either rocks or sticks and we have to bring it with us. Of course, mommy will be his sidekick. Most of the time I  end up carrying a bunch of stuff. Making sure I don't drop a single thing or I will get audited later.

So many things to see that day. My husband also spotted the huge bird's nest laying on top the power line tower. Its so amazing to see the big creature flying around it. Two huge bird's nest at the very top now that's something I never saw in my life before. The bird flying around it seems to be disturbed by us so we continue on our journey. Back on our four wheeler we drove farther .

I also took a snap shot of the wild flowers growing  on the field. Don't know what it is but I like it.  All in all that day was wonderful.

Walk in money

We always love going for our walks and our path always crosses the railroad tracks that aren't too far from our house. On the sides of the railroad tracks there is always so much of their old steel laying around from building and repairing the tracks. This last time we decided to take our little wagon with us and collect it. Taking it to the scrap yard we were amazed that after turning it in we receive 29 dollars for our effort. Not bad for a little extra money for our little walk.

Apidextra reviews

As they say you never know what you never know. Sitting down at the desk everyday even if you're careful can put on quite a few extra pounds during the year.  When you come home from work you really don't feel like exercising even though that's the best way as far as I'm concerned to lose weight. But looking for the right diet pill to help you though this is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Checking online for apidextra reviews is a lot of help because it will take a lot of time out of my searching to find out about  the product.

Solar security

Living here all these years we've never had a problem with any crooks in the neighborhood but now lately with the price of scrap steels going up so high you're forever seeing vehicles driving by slow looking into your yard to see if there is anything steel that they might steal. We've installed three solar powered flood lights on our house to ggive a little more security at night and the piece of mind that hopefully no one will be creeping around our property.
