Deals on storage cabinets

Over the years my husband has been a main contractor sub-contracting through the state programs. After adding on to our storage building we were looking for deals on storage cabinets. We have so many different expensive small inventory we keep the cabinets locked at most times. Even the new work truck will need six four foot width cabinets before it goes on the jobs.

Snow blower

Finally get enough snow and the first thing the snow blower breaks a belt. So my husband calls around to find one, no one has one in stock. One place says they can have one tomorrow. The truck never makes it there it broke down in Buffalo. So with the holiday it won't be here 'till next Wednesday. In the mean time the shoveling is killing my husband.

I guess its just like my husband collecting the latest in ATV apparel thank god I only collect shoes at least at this point they all fit in my closet.

Geo-traks fun game

Our geo-trak train set had been put up for quite awhile after moving into the house. So the other day we decided to get it out it had been so long that I had forgotten how much that we had. Three years ago I went eBay crazy  buying all sorts of geo-traks. We laid it all out discovering that we over a hundred foot of track and 18 little houses and play areas. Its time to have fun all over again.

Mary Louise jewelry for sale

You have to love it when people leave it up to you to figure out what they may want for Christmas present. At least that way its always a surprise but it could be something they already have. Shopping for my mother in law and daughter have always been the toughest. But as I was searching all over the Internet I ran into mary louise jewelry for sale. As I opened their page there was already so many different ideas I had in mind. It only took me twenty minutes to pick out something for both of them.

Dead beat tenants

Tenants can be such a pain they always have an excuse when their rent is late. Ahhh my car insurance was due so I don't have all the rent. My husband tells them "would they rather live in their car than the apartment?" You better pay for your apartment first or you are going to get thrown out. He's so sick of it he wants to sell the house.

Roll about walker

A few years back in the winter we had a tremendous amount of snow. Going up on top of the roof is not fun in the middle of winter. I pushed more and more snow off the edge of the roof. When I was done doing that I came down the ladder thinking that I was on the last step of the ladder I stepped off and I twisted my knee as it hit a ceramic figurine under the snow. It tore the muscles so bad that it took months to recuperate. In the meantime I used a roll about walker to get around in the house. Once I was in the walker everything was fine. Getting on it with my problem took some time.

Zip line

We are always going for walks in the woods down back. Next spring  my husband tells me he is going to install a hundred foot zip line that takes us all the way down the hill in about three seconds. The difference in elevation is about forty foot from one point to the other. I hope that I'm not too scared to try it. He said it will even have a seat to sit on to be more comfortable

Important packaging supplies

Once I learned how to sell things on eBay it sure makes it a little easier to make extra money  during Christmas season. I couldn't help but notice the hesitation of buyers this year. It seems like everything I put on there takes twice as long to sell. And sometimes I even give up on selling it. Last week I decided to sell six antique how lights I had bought at a estate auction. I needed to find important packaging supplies for this shipment of milk glass and brass lighting.

Thanksgiving went over without a hitch and of course everybody bit off more than they could chew. Feeling stuffed no one got to the pies so we have lots of pie to eat over this weekend. Our Thanksgiving this year is completely untraditional with six different kinds of seafood.

Samsung chromebook arm

It took me forever to finish the Christmas shopping for my step daughter. I finally found everything I was looking for. My son is the easy one to shop for. He tells me everything and I help him write it down for Santa. The hardest person to shop for is my husband. After comparing a lot of different models online I decided that the samsung chromebook arm would be the best for him.I can only hope that he won't be disappointed.

What a surprise! It doesn't usually happen this time of the year. My husband was called back to work at the last moment. His work has been up and down all year but usually at this time its done for the end of the year. So happy for us it will mean a little extra money for the holidays.

Allen & Heath

Lately there's been really great luck with my neighbor buying storage lockers at auction. I think its more fun for him than it is because it doesn't bring in a lot of extra income compared to the time that he spends on it. The high point of last week was finding a very expensive equalizer board that they use in bands. He said it was from allen & heath. After looking up the price he has decided to keep it for a while so his son can put it to good use.

No more grass

Who was to know this year was going to be so dry? Originally when we built the house we brought in eight inches of top soil over top of the sand. What we didn't realize is year after year the top soil was working its way into the sand. Eventually with the high winds and no rain we are just about down to a sand lot. Next year we plan on bringing in loads of top soil in hopes of a regular weather pattern summer.

Acid cigars for sale

This year I started looking ahead at the Holidays and birthdays etc. My mom and dad's anniversary was coming up and it was a big one. With all the relatives coming to town I thought of the last time they were here with all the guys smoking their cigars outback. So I started looking for acid cigars for sale it seems to be their favorite brand. A couple of hours into the party I walked in with the box and it seemed like all  eyes in the room were on me until the box was empty.

Today's special deal of the week at Kinney drugs is Hershey's king size chocolate bars and Pepsi. What a great combination to lift your sugar up to get through the day. Myself if I eat one candy bar and drink a Pepsi I probably end up with my heart exploding within a couple of hours. If you read the sugar levels of these you would know why.

Outdoor wall fountains

My mother in law just bought a new house and we have lot of plans for the spring when it comes to landscaping. I've been online and printed out lots of pictures so we can come up with the ideal plan and search for the best pricing of the materials that we need. Being it is fall we checked for clearance items at different stores in our area. We found a great selection of  outdoor wall fountains not too far from our house. Hopefully this weekend we can pick up my mother in law to show her what we found.

Pipe insulation

My husband is so depressed. His mom bought a modular home. He went over there tonight to check the pipes underneath to make sure that they were wrapped for the cold days that are coming. As he crawled underneath he discovered a leak and now he has to fix it. Fixing the pipe is one thing also the pipes are exposed on a thirty foot area. So he will be going to Home Depot tomorrow morning to pick up fiber glass and the new pipe fitting to stop the leak. Its not so much fun crawling around underneath a modular home.

Apple festival

We went to the apple festival last weekend it used to be so nice  to go and walk around and take the kids on the rides. This year everything seems to be so commercialized. They even put up signs blocking the side of the road so they could detour you to pay for parking. When we got to the rides for just three rides the two kids cost us 21 dollars. After that we went to get some fried pizza dough and even all the sodas were flat. We got our money back and went and bought some lemonade. I think the best part about the whole thing was the kids had fun.

Industrial supply

A friend of mine got tired of the everyday grind of going to work and just making your basic everyday income. It had been a while since I've seen him and when I did he started telling me about industrial supply that he was buying whole sale and selling it retail with a discount online from the site that he had built by himself. He says he wasn't getting rich but he was making about four hundred dollars more a week including his gas savings from not driving to his regular job.

The truth about your enerygy

So many things run on batteries these days and the cost is ridiculous. We figured out over years time we use about sixty dollars in batteries. Whether its in your remote control or in your kids toys. It does pay to go with rechargeable batteries as long as they are of a good brand name that we could trust. So buying rechargeable batteries and the battery charger are seemingly worth it but the batteries cost more and the price of the charger then it takes your electricity to charge the batteries which raises your electrical bill. So they're really isn't any savings. So buy a solar powered battery charger and that might help but there's still the initial cost and set up. It's a no win situation.

Dimarzio musicians friend

One thing leads to the other with our son. We've now transformed our garage into a miniature recording studio. With the help of dimarzio musicians friend. It took my husband and myself and my son two days to finally agree on what kind of different lighting we would have in the garage. After getting everything set up my husband had to call his electrician buddy that also plays in the band to add more power outlets and also track down and label all the cables in there.

Hopefully next year we can get our new whole house AC installed to be more comfortable.

Briefcases

It's so stressful for my husband updating his schooling for a week to go to work at a nuclear power plant for a shutdown. We tried our best to prepare ahead of time to make sure that he had all the proper tools of the job. Usually we're pretty used to it but this time we decided to pick up a briefcase for all his paperwork. Keeping his paperwork in order in the briefcase is a big help. I guess the government thinks that they're doing us a favor by bringing down gas prices a little bit. I heard that the average price across the United States is 3.76 a gallon. I guess the gas companies forgot to bring down the price in New York to that price. If the government wants to help out the economy they should figure out a way to bring gas prices down to 2.00 dollars a gallon to help everyone and hopefully it would be a domino effect so the prices on food shopping will also go down.

Playground swings

It had been many years looking at that old rusty swing set out back. My husband finally made time to put his design in effect. He asked the kids what they were looking for in a playground. Basically they were looking for all the standard things but they wanted a type of tower that they can climb into and hang out there. My husband built two towers and connected them with a floating bridge in between. Under the bridge where the playground swings it turned out so nice.

Jarred lost his first baby tooth

I was playing dentist the other day. My son's baby tooth in the front bottom was very loose but you couldn't pull it out with your fingers. I wouldn't have bothered pulling it out but you can see where the other tooth is trying to come in behind it. So I took strong dental floss made a noose in it tied it on and pulled the tooth upward and out. He yelled as I thought it hurt him but as he sat there with a sad face I asked him "does it hurt? he replies no mommy. It just scared me." So after all that excitement we folded it up in tissue paper and put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. The next morning he got up and had a shiny fifty cent piece from the tooth fairy. He was very happy.

TV mount

I sure hate moving from one place to another. We haven't done it in years but I can remember moving it here and we needed a very different  type of tv mount. The walls in here are only forty eight inches tall before they start to cathedral up to ten foot ceilings that are beautiful aged knotty pine tongue and grove. It sure was hard at first to get the TV mounted but after it looks so beautiful at that height between the edge of the wall and about three feet up the cathedral.

Reel mower

Building our house years ago was quite a bit of work. We had to bring in some fill to begin with for the backyard. At the time sand was cheap we didn't think about how much we would lose from heavy rains washing it away. After the first rainstorm and losing a lot of it my husband designed a diversionary gutter in the ground to divert any heavy rains. After this we brought in the top soil for the small backyard. We only needed a reel mower to take care of the grass in that small area. Next year we plan on spending the money for top soil in the front yard.

Phone calls

Don't you love  those calls from tele marketers that kept on calling on your phone day in day out? Even if they were told not to call but still they kept on calling.  First I call them up and give them a piece of my mind. Then I asked where they stole our telephone number because I surely didn't give it to them.  Then I turned around and then they called again. When they called again I don't give them a chance to talk I asked them for their home phone number so I can call them and disturb their life like they do mine. I also tell them that tele marketing is the lowest form of work in the world and then I hang up. They usually don't call after that but they just keep on selling your number to different companies.

Hydraulic cartridge

As a younger man my father in law got this urge to dig a pond on my husband's property. He also needed dirt fill for behind his house so he went out and bought a used backhoe and a used dump truck. Besides putting tires and breaks on the dump truck everything else seems to work really good considering it was a 1946 Ford truck lets call it excellent for the year. The backhoe on the other hand needed tires, hydraulic lines and a hydraulic cartridge. The backhoe seemed like an everyday breakdown device. If my father in law got through the day without using two gallons of fluid that was a good day.

2004 Polaris predator ATV

Even though it was cold and sprinkling my husband went out to put the final fixings on our 2004 Polaris predator ATV. He thought he was going to be done today, the left front wheel bearing is in bad shape so he had another set he was going to put on. He took the tire off removed the disk break roader. After taking the large nut of the spindle he discovered that the back bearing was ceased to the spindle. He messed with it for about an hour and a half still he couldn't get it to come off. He says he is going to have to look for a puller to pull the hub to replace the bearings. Hopefully the spindle is in good shape.

Nature trekking

From snow mobile riding, riding four wheelers and even a quiet countryside morning walk is our favorite past time  providing educational nature experience for our kids. Our walking trail is only a few blocks from our house past the railroad tracks. Yet we can do so much in a day from there. The scenic views in this country side can be more exciting like yesterday when we went out for some nature adventure. As we reached the creek riding the four wheeler we picked up some rocks to throw in the creek as we make wishes.  Fifty foot from where we stand was a beaver  dam. There was no beaver on sight but the dam sure makes the water flow slowly. Makes you wonder if there are fish trapped on that creek.

On the other hand, our five year old is trying to get himself unstuck  in the middle of the bushes. He had to have that stick. Every time we go in the woods he always finds something interesting  its either rocks or sticks and we have to bring it with us. Of course, mommy will be his sidekick. Most of the time I  end up carrying a bunch of stuff. Making sure I don't drop a single thing or I will get audited later.

So many things to see that day. My husband also spotted the huge bird's nest laying on top the power line tower. Its so amazing to see the big creature flying around it. Two huge bird's nest at the very top now that's something I never saw in my life before. The bird flying around it seems to be disturbed by us so we continue on our journey. Back on our four wheeler we drove farther .

I also took a snap shot of the wild flowers growing  on the field. Don't know what it is but I like it.  All in all that day was wonderful.

Walk in money

We always love going for our walks and our path always crosses the railroad tracks that aren't too far from our house. On the sides of the railroad tracks there is always so much of their old steel laying around from building and repairing the tracks. This last time we decided to take our little wagon with us and collect it. Taking it to the scrap yard we were amazed that after turning it in we receive 29 dollars for our effort. Not bad for a little extra money for our little walk.

Apidextra reviews

As they say you never know what you never know. Sitting down at the desk everyday even if you're careful can put on quite a few extra pounds during the year.  When you come home from work you really don't feel like exercising even though that's the best way as far as I'm concerned to lose weight. But looking for the right diet pill to help you though this is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Checking online for apidextra reviews is a lot of help because it will take a lot of time out of my searching to find out about  the product.

Solar security

Living here all these years we've never had a problem with any crooks in the neighborhood but now lately with the price of scrap steels going up so high you're forever seeing vehicles driving by slow looking into your yard to see if there is anything steel that they might steal. We've installed three solar powered flood lights on our house to ggive a little more security at night and the piece of mind that hopefully no one will be creeping around our property.

Free shipping coupons

It was a lot of fun on eBay buying things but my newest craze is learning how to sell things. You have to be very careful also on how you list your items. Its always better I found out when it comes to selling clothes to measure everything at every angle to let the buyer know exactly what they're getting. Just in case someone objects to the size you gave them all the information so they can't back out of the deal. Now if only eBay could come up with some free shipping coupons if you sell enough product.

The wonders of an ipod

It's so amazing what you can do with an ipod these days. If you have netflex at your house you can download the app and you can take your ipod anywhere that has wireless connection. Turn on your ipod and watch a movie whenever you want as long as you have Wi Fi connection. The same goes for the ipod when it comes to magicjack phone system if you have this at your house. Download the app go anywhere that has wifi  start the magicjack app and call anyone you feel like. If you don't have a lot of minutes on your regular cellphone this really comes in handy because you don't have to pay for any minutes. This is really talk as long as you like.

Cigars

I can remember when  every Wednesday night  my husband and a few of his buddies would have their poker night down in the basement. Halfway through the night I could notice the cherry or vanilla smells coming up through the heat ducts from all the cigars they were smoking downstairs. I would always open the window and put a fan in it to vent it out. Its a wonder that they could see with that much smoke. On the other hand the basement for days after that would always smell sweet.

Hot and cold weather

I fell asleep last night in our family room to only be awakened by the high winds. The last few days I have the windows opened upstairs because of the warmer weather last night the temperatures dropped down into the 30's and by the time I noticed the windows opened it was too late. The room was in the 60's and I was shaking as I got up wrapped the blanket around to shut the windows. Slowly moving downstairs to start the wood stove in the middle of the night is a task I gave up on two weeks ago.

Car leather cleaner

My husband was searching for a new truck or used truck on eBay when he came acrossed an Isuzu Vehi-cross. He had never seen one before but being he had owned an Isuzu amigo in the past assumed that this would be a very dependable vehicle and if the price is right he would buy it. The truck was all the way down in West Palm beach so after winning it bought a plane ticket to fly down and drive it back to New York. After bringing it home we bought a bunch of different cleaners to shine the vehicle up along with a car leather cleaner. Apparently the last owner didn't use much effort in taking care of the interior.

Following the four wheeler trails

Finally the snow is gone hopefully mother nature doesn't made up its mind for the coming days or it will be a big disappointment for our little boy. Now that the weather is getting warmer we took out our 5 year old's four wheeler from the shed and he started riding it yesterday along with our other big four wheeler and rode it in our front yard. Hopefully today we can go down the trails to take a longer ride.

Painting the bottom of the boat

Being spring is coming early there's a lot of things we have to get done. One of the main things is getting the boat ready to take it down to the marina. This year though we have to strip  and paint the bottom before it goes in the water. Luckily, the paint that is on the bottom is thicker so as you go to strip it, it falls off pretty easily. The one thing that's the hardest when you're painting the bottom besides being messy is that you have to jack the boat up off the trailer to paint the small surfaces that are hidden from their supports of the trailer. Its called the balancing act but we blocked it so there's no chance of it falling on us.

Arginmax reviews

My girlfriend and her husband next door are ten to fifteen years older than my husband and myself. One day she just blurt it our the statement of how much money that her husband has put into pills that do just about absolutely nothing. You can tell that this was really bothering her because she just went on and on about  how stressful it was when her and her husband were intimate with each other. I started searching online for answers and found too many. The arginmax reviews along with at least fifty other products were very helpful.

Just a thought

I just had a thought after contemplating when I was going to do our taxes before April 15th deadline. They already have our social security number so why couldn't we just log in to an account during the year and add things as needed so the IRS could just automatically give us our refund or we would pay in. This would save having to pay for a service to take care of our taxes at the end of the year and all the hectics of it.

Barcode scanner

Years ago I was helping my father in law along with a bunch of relatives packed up everything from a small business store  and move at across town to a much bigger place.  It seemed like it took forever but reality it was only four days  setting up for the reopening. Everything looked really nice for the most part because of the brilliant banners that we had strong across ed the ceiling area. When we finally reopened we noticed that the barcode scanner was missing. Calling my mother in law saved the day because she was the one that took a load of empty boxes to the dumpster. One of these boxes weren't completely empty it has the scanner inside. Thank goodness we found it.

Excited little dude

Its starting already my son has started kindergarten and he is already the popular guy. I think he is going to be a salesman , he is always talking. Doesn't matter whether you're five or fifty he has probably got something to say to you. Always excited when he talks. Like he's been saving up everything in that little brain and when it comes out he jumps with relief. Just this week he has been invited to three birthday parties one of them at the bowling alley. He is so excited but little does he know the lightest ball is still really heavy for him.

Bolle

My husband is always changing the different types of sunglasses he wears. The pair he likes the most are his Bolle. Being my husband works outdoors in the construction trade different variables of sunshine make a lot of difference when you're working a hundred foot off the ground building scaffolding. He said the worst time on the job was when he was working on a huge mall they were working on the east side and the corner of the north side on the same day.

There was snow and bright sunshine on the east side unlike the north side was dark with no snow. Normally he would just slide his glasses up on his head but with the hard hat and safety issues for his eyes he couldn't do this. As he turned the corner to the darkness it would take a minute or two to adjust to the darkness.

Our wishing creek

Finally some sunshine at our house. We hope today to get out and take a walk with our son. We usually take a walk around our large circle track that we live in. At the end of the road we continued down across the railroad tracks to a small creek where just before we get there the railroad track we picked up some small stones and use these as wishing stones in the creek just like the pennies you would throw in a regular wishing creek.

Philadelphia wedding photographer

Years ago a close friend of mine moved away just before we graduated high school. We lost track of each other for a couple of years. The other day I was so surprised when I received  an  invitation in the mail from her. She had a little note inside to me explaining more the details of the man she was about to marry. It was only a three month engagement. Setting up the wedding plans  were so hurried up she said the toughest person to get was the philadelphia wedding photographer. The problem was it was such short notice that everybody were booked up for her weekend.

Motor mounts for Polaris 2008 ATV

We finally brought home  the 2008 Polaris Outlaw ATV from the repair shop. They say a  2006 500 cc motor won't fit in that frame while after looking at hundreds of pictures and talking to  quite a few Polaris people it will fit in there with some modifications. The only problem for my husband is that the motor is so heavy it's tough to even set it on the frame to start the process of measuring for a different type or custom motor mounts.

Search for tenant

After searching people's references online searching for a good tenant for our apartment we couldn't believe that when we went on facebook and typed in a name for search it brought up to persons public criminal report at the bottom of the page. We didn't expect this but it saved us a lot of grief  at moving in a convicted person. The crime was against their children and drunken driving.

Heated blanket

With the wood stove going downstairs is too hot the upstairs is too cold. We put a fan at the bottom of the stairs that seems to help a little bit. But the best thing I ever did was to buy a heated blanket. The one that has dual control because I like it very hot. On the other hand my husband likes it a lot colder. If I roll over in the middle of the night towards his side it feels like someone just threw ice cubes towards me. It goes to show you in the summer time we can never come to an agreement with the settings on the air conditioner.

Another work from home job

I like to do something a little bit different in life and it would be nice  if I could work from home considering the price of gas  is supposed to hit over 5 dollars a gallon. I'm looking into beeing a medical billing specialist. Training at home sounds like a good thing and they say you can earn up to 40,000 a year and more. I can be my own boss choose my own hours and also get a tax break for a portion of my home and all the materials that I use at my home job. It all sounds pretty good but I hope the time that I put to learning it is worth the money that I get out of it.

Our poor little guy

Even though its winter its kind of mild outdoors we decided to take our son to the zoo. Just to have something to take his mind off from what had happened earlier this week in school. They were getting ready for lunch so he went to wash his hands but the bathroom was full of other kids. The teacher told him to go to the next room and use that bathroom. The other class room was empty. He opened the bathroom door, as he went to close it the door swung wild his hand was in the way. As he pulled back his pinkie finger got smashed in the door literally crushing it and tearing the meat to the bone. See this door swung the opposite way as his bathroom door and also didn't have a hydraulic to slow it down.

The school called we went to get him.The  first hospital we went to after taking an hour to evaluate him told us they really didn't want to do it. So back on the road to another hospital that could. This hospital didn't have enough doctors on staff so we had to wait another hour for the specialist to look at it. After that it was 2 hours between everything before we could bring our five year old home. The bad part about it is he has pain medicine for it but he says there's no pain. This possibly means that he has no nerves left in his little pinkie. What should we do. On Tuesday they will be removing his cast to check on it. So so devastating.

Unsecured business loans

Starting a small business  took a lot more out of us than the expected. Even though we had a business plan there was a few things in the first couple of months that came out than were unexpected. We were already at the bottom when it came to the savings that we put in the business. We were used to doing things at our own so we went out and looked for a short term unsecured business loans. The interest may have been higher but we were able to pay back in a short term so it really didn't hurt us at all.

Picture frames

So many pictures. What to do with them all? We ran out of books and picture frames time for a new entertainment center. I think the one that we will get will be bigger with more shelves to hold extra pictures. I'd like to put two automatic hd picture frames with a slide show but they're a little distracting next to the TV. So many things to figure out with the new room.

Wii zumba

Working at home can pack on a pounds after a few years. It's good to have low fat snacks on hand so it doesn't get out of control. I've tried quite a few exercise DVD over the years including the Wii exercise game. With working at home and taking care of the kids at the same time doesn't leave much time. The most fun that I've had lately is with the wii zumba. I love how they walk you through step per step and I can start it over again and again to learn everything  the correct way and it's a lot of fun at the same time.

Digital converter

I was about to throw out all my old cassettes. I just didn't know what to do with all them in today's world. I happen to stumble across an ad in the magazine for a little machine that you put your cassette in connected to your pc and it reforms your old cassettes into digital format so I can listen to them directly on file on my PC or I can convert them to DVD's so I get to save my music forever.
