Lost : the final season

Lost lost lost. What is my husband going to do? This is the last season, he is already crying the blues about the ending. He says it just can't be over. He wants to contact the directors and tell them to start over with another plane crash even if it is different actors. My husband is just gonna be LOST without LOST.

The wonders of toothbrushes

Just a little note we were watching the history channel on the beginning of toothbrushes. The bristles used to be made out of the boar's hair. In the 1800 they used to use ammonia on the brush to make your teeth white. Problem is ammonia rots your teeth. Another little fun note, America gave their prisoners of wars in Germany hollow toothbrushes with maps of Germany inside for their escape from the prison camp. Isn't that neat?

Electric cigarettes

So, as the story goes it's extremely hard to quit smoking. These days there are so many things out there from nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, the list even goes on and on. The electric cigarettes seems to be the best way to go. You're getting your nicotine craving taking care of without all the other harmful effects.

Thermal heat

We're hoping by next year to build a new shed or should I say green house. We're hoping to use the natural heat of the deep ground to thermally heat at least 60 percent of the green house. And the rest will be heated by solar collectors then we will be all set for our vegetables year round.

Insurance marketing

Last year we had a big rain storm come through. It rained heavy for four or five days. I'd bet at least 75 percent of the people on the lower floor of that large apartment complex don't have renters insurance. Checking around for price, it's all about insurance marketing finding the exact insurance for your particular needs is also a big part of the picture. You don't need too much but you don't need too little.

Preventative maintenance

One thing we won't forget this spring because last year was a catastrophe with having respiratory infection. Running the air conditioner for five or six months the filter can get pretty dirty built up with all sorts of pollens and dust. This sitting in there all winter can build up a fungus so when you turn on the air conditioner you're pushing all that into the room with the air that you're breathing.

Inspecting toys

One of the fun jobs I had in the past or maybe the only fun job ever was opening large boxes to reach inside to smaller boxes. Inspecting the box for damage then pulling the toy out. Inspecting the toy for damage, opening the battery case, installing the battery making sure all the bells and whistles work then uninstalling the batteries and putting the toy back in the box. All this just to reassure that each toy works good for Christmas.

Sleeping pills

Ever since I travelled to the other side of the world my internal clock for sleep has been offset. I've tried almost everything to correct my sleeping cycle. Sometimes going without sleep can leave your brain topsy turby to the point where you can't remember what good sleep is. Finding the right sleeping pills has been ongoing long search of mine. It took me more than six months last time after returning from the orient.

Salt water aquarium

We went to the pet store today just to get food for our chinchillas. The salt water fish at the store are so incredible it makes you just want to set up an aquarium today. The price of the aquarium, stand and all the equipment was startling for salt water set up. The price of the fish on top of that would set me back two pay checks so for now we're going to stop and think about this costly adventure.

Irvingia gabonensis side effects

I heard of a product years ago or should I say seed, nutrient that a friend of mine was told to use when they were overseas. They were starting a diet and their blood pressure was way out of line. It was incredible to see my friend after about six months. I couldn't believe the weight loss and the energy they have. The irvingia gabonensis side effects seemed to be so trivial compared to other drugs these days.

Treasure hunting

We went for a short ride to my daughter in law's today. On the way back we figured we would do some treasure hunting. In a ten mile ride home we stopped at three lawn sales. Didn't find really that much except for some extra outdoors toys for our son. Like he needs more but at .50 cents a piece we couldn't pass them up.

Best wrinkle cream

I wish getting older came with an instant repair manua.l It's kind of funny in a sense if you have an old car you take it to a mechanic and usually they don't know what they're doing. As you get older you can go to a doctor for the pains and usually they don't know what they're doing. Some of the doctors don't listen enough these days. They just want their money and out the door you go. It took forever to find the best wrinkle cream. After going through quite a bit of money, I'm finally satisfied.

Muscle stress

My husband working for the union has a lot of ups and downs. Working not working. The only problem with that is he is using a lot of physical strength then stopping work for a few weeks then starting again. Puts a lot of stress on his muscles. Now that spring is here at least we can get outdoors and go for our walks along with jogging around the block.

We checked out five different designs of walk in bathtubs for her. After the install her and her husband were totally delighted with the work.

Chimney cleaning

My husband is dreading this spring of cleaning our chimney. We have a three storey house it requires going up the roof and putting the wire bristle cleaner, sweeper inside it to remove the black creosote built up from all the wood that we burned all last winter season.

Filling the backyard

So amazing to see our backyard grow. I'm not talking grass or plants. My husband built our house in 1992 literally there was no backyard. But our sideyard is high. He has been digging a little bit each year for the last eighteen years. We have a total of 22 foot by 60 foot area and still going. He says probably by 2025 we can put a swimming pool back there. hahaha he laughs.

Cardboard displays

It was such a pain moving all of our heavy shelving. Every year we want to do a complete cleaning. It was something that we didn't want to look forward to along with touching up all the painted scratches over the year. We were so happy with our new cardboard displays. Brighter in color than the old ones and at least one tenth of the weight. So next year I don't mind the clean up.

The love for Easter candy. It was fun going out shopping pretending to be the Easter bunny. Myself I don't really like chocolate. After getting all the shopping done coming home and building the Easter baskets for fun. My husband surprised me Easter morning. He finally found a chocolate treat that I like. They were little chocolate rabbits filled with coconut. Mmmm good.

Hard drives

In the way past when your computer slowed down you would do the usual things as defragging it shuffling files around to make your computer run faster. The price of external hard drives way back when was so expensive it wasn't worth it to buy one. It's so handy these days to hook up an external hard drive to carry the extra load. It helps us immensely.

Proud jammies

My husband was reminiscing the other morning as our three year old came out with these buzz light year jammies on. So cute and so proud of his new jammies. It reminds my husband of when he was little with his full cowboy pajamas complete with guns and hat that he had got for his birthday when he was six years old.

Branson vacation packages

Next spring we're meeting up with friends that we haven't seen in years. They said they had purchased to Branson vacation packages. We can't wait for the fun to begin. We had two brand new canoes that we hope to be all to take with us on the trip. By this time next year when we go we will have our brand new truck and plenty of extra room to pack for our fabulous trip.

The wonders of gardening

Spring time brings a different thought to mind, its the fun time for planning our garden again. One year we had too much tomatoes and last year too much peppers. So this year we will be more aware of how many of each we put in there along with trying to balance the soil content better.

Disney vacation packages

Now the summer is about to hit New York State we always try to think ahead because there are a lot of local nice parks to go camping in. But we started thinking about the price we pay here versus the price of a Disney vacation packages. The package isn't really that much more except for the gas for our vehicle to drive to Disney World. So instead of camping in New York this year I think we will be headed for Orlando.

Arrogant people

We've never really worried too much about thieves in our neighborhood. My husband has been on this property for seventeen years. But recently there was a knock at the door, a young man in his twenties says "Do you want to get rid of any of the steel in your backyard?" My husband started screaming at him what are you doing in my backyard? All this time my husband is thinking of how arrogant this kid is. You don't go walking around a person's backyard. Trying to see what you could steal. The kid played dumb or ignorant like this shouldn't bother my husband. At any rate we noted the color of his truck and style of it in case something happens in the future.
